Evening all,

it's been a bit of a mix here.

Gorgeous sunny morning then overcast and a bit dismal and we've just had a few snow flurries.

Quizzie's been out and is definitely liking the "I'll dig up a mole" game. I've no idea what she'll do if she ever actually meets one. Probably want to play with it

SWMBO is currently fast asleep. Methinks that the stuff they gave her in hospital has now well and truly worn off and it's all a bit delicate. I'm sure the Co-codamol they gave her will help. Sleep is probably the best thing.

We started with blue sky and frost, now it’s raining.

Nice chunk of steak with chips for dinner tonight.

Might have a Henry’s later.

Evening all, Couldn't get on the site throughout the day 'data base error'!!

It's been freezing all day here barely reaching 1C, tried to snow again mid afternoon but petered out.

Train driving duties up the Tees valley line tonight (Darlington to Saltburn) with a bottle of Henry's.
Pizza & oven chips for tea.

Been snowing for a good hour but fizzling out now.

If this was central London the mayor would have declared a state of emergency.

The next lot heading this way has just made landfall at Seaham, about 14 miles away.

Evening all..
Weather started nicely today, nice enough in fact to turn the heating off and open the windows to air the place out for for an hour or so around midday. Forecasting a bit of light rain/sleet for us tonight but no sign of it as yet.
Jacket spuds with bacon and cheese tonight with home made Dorset apple cake for pud.
Now just settling down with a coffee to watch the original Dads Army film on BBC2..
Oh and as Steve will no doubt lets us know the Canaries had a win today as well.
