Default Rover 75 design team pewter model "The Winning Team" with box and certificate

**SOLD**

Rover 75 design team pewter model "The Winning Team" with box and certificate

This a scale model of the Rover 75 that was presented to members of the car's design team at about the time of its launch in late 1998/early 1999.

It comes bubble-wrapped in a bespoke blue box with "Rover 75" embossed on the lid in silver lettering. On the plinth is an oval metal plaque marked with "ROVER 75 THE WINNING TEAM". Included is a certificate with an inscription and signature from the Project Director, Peter Morgan, addressed to "Dear Colleague".

The model is cast from solid pewter and mounted on a solid wooden plinth. The wood lacquer has gone a bit cloudy with age and there appear to be some casting imperfections on the roof. These were commissioned by Rover Cars from Marque Models, a local company specialising in pewter models of classic cars and were distributed solely to members of the Rover 75 Project Team.

£150
Includes P&P via Royal Mail Special Delivery

Payment by bank transfer, cheque, Paypal or cash if collecting in person.
