Keith - just to be difficult, the ones that get into picture frames usually end up sandwiched between the card mount and the glass. The only way to get rid of the little swines is to take the frame apart.

Perhaps the warmth from the screen attracted it. Just imagine how many are living in other electrical casings in the average home, feeding on the dust and dust mites, keeping warm from the heat given from the circuits. Very cosy.

A new note to Keith re bugs

I now have a whole bunch these inside my front number plate - i.e. stuck between the laminates. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thysanoptera

They're creepy little b******s - literally

PS. 14 of them also got into my Eizo monitor and could be seen crawling around behind the LCD panel. Luckily they all died in there and have now vanished.

PPS. If they get inside a good stills camera, it's bad news and likely to be very expensive.

Does DDT work on them?

Some of you youngsters might not know what this is (DDT)...... Great Bug Killer......

Info here....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDT

Kills a few other things as well....

Why is it, that all things that work very well, are banned by the powers that be?......

And why do we insist on voting them in!!??
