Just thought you might like to know that I've sorted my 'sudden thump' under hard acceleration on the ZTT. It was simple in the end - one of the hoses that comes from the wastegate control valve that fits onto the turbo unit wasn't actually connected ! Now it's back on it's sweet as a nut - and didn't cost me anything ! The connector that was flapping around unconnected is a bit oil damaged so I'll try and get hold of another one but many thanks to all who have helped me solve this annoying problem.

Interesting - I must take a look at mine when it stops raining in case it's a quick fix, and have a look on the diagrams to see if I can figure out where it is of course!

Unfortunately not - everything is connected up as it should be, so it looks like a new boost pressure valve for me
