Just out of curiosity what would people be willing to pay for a set of MG7 rear clusters, £100, £150?

I believe the MG7 rear lights have light emitting diode's for illumination.
This being so, they will not be easy to fit to our 75's and ZT's.

A few of us have tried fitting led's to the rear lights and have usually come across the problem of "bulb failure" showing on the display.
The fitting of resistors does help but the heat dissapated across the resistors is quite high..

It would be interesting if anyone has had long term sucess with fitting led's.

Yes spoke to and saw geoff1's MG7 lights at Beaulieu, look good, and no warning message as far as I remember asking

Yep thats me and I can confirm they fit perfectly just a straight swap,
and the car has passed its mot with them fitted, because they look so good on the car and work better than standard I wouldnt have thought there would be a problem, the standard ones from memory dont have any marks on the exterior showing E numbers or anything, looking at the rear lights of some of todays imported cars, I have no worries.

Do you have a contact for the supply or more of these, Geoff?

I did notice a R75 with chershed looking plates yesterday something like R**OWE or similar.
This car caught my eye as I on the bypass and this was on other carriageway, definite new type rear lenses.

Two and two together in Lates style probably makes 5 tho....
