Default Lost keys “Help Needed” please

Hi all been offered a 75 diesel auto 2005 sadly it’s sat in park but open keys have been lost. How can i get a key so it can be moved?

The quickest way is to remove the ign barrel which will disable the steering lock then tow it home.

You will need to send to Germany for a replacement key unless you want to change the locks then swap the ews etc.

Really and how do you remove barrel from coloum?

Whatever they want for the car it'll be plus £220 (think that's the current price) for a key from Xpart which is the easiest way.

Unless Andy has some special method I don't know. Brian and Russ have posted before that the steering column has to be replaced as the ignition barrel can't be removed without the key. To quote Russ:

Swap the steering column for a one with a key.............LINK, send me the EWS, and I'll make you a working key transponder or two.

Much cheaper than the alternative

brian will explain more but the ews is located down the drivers side pillar cover to the right hand side at the bottom remove the cover and its held on with 4 security screws rgds
