Replaced the NSF wishbone & bush, noted it had a 1999 casting date on it so has served well, would be pleased if these (did the off side a while back) last half as long.
Also changed the drop links - tedious job considering its only two nuts each. Thank heavens for dremels :¬)
Also fitted spring protectors while I was there - keeping the old girl safe.

Drove to Alnwick this morning, browsed in Barter Books, had a toasted teacake and a coffee, then headed to Craster for some kippers, and finally to Seahouses for fish n chips

Then a leisurely drive home, all of which the ZT did quite admirably, even if my handbag didn't match the seats, or coordinate with the silver coachwork

Ran a pscan test to identify an intermittant ABS fault - "NSF open circuit" - so that's easy to find if it plays up before the mot next week.

Drove it to "Hotel du Vin" in Newcastle, and had lunch with the wife

We then headed over to the Mini showroom on Barrack Road Newcastle, and had a good look around.

So it looks like a 5 door Cooper S hatch, in Solaris Orange, with a 2 litre petrol with a 0-60 of a shade under 7 seconds, with all of the extras I can think of.

A tad over 25 grand to get rid of the shizzle cluttering up my life is a veritable bargain

No trade in, and I'm going to scrap her 75.

Job done
