So am I! I see that Comical Eddie was trying to indulge in a bit of megaphone diplomacy over the past few days. Ehh, ok Eddie, whatever you're having yourself. Here's hoping Owen Farrell tries one of those no-arms shoulder charge tackles he got away with during the Autumn Internationals - don't think he'll get away with it this time ...
In terms of the tournament overall, it'll be nice if history repeats itself - I know that can be, eh, boring, but I'm willing to put up with it ...

In case anyone is watching/able to watch the U20s game, it's half time now and England have a 20-24 lead in what is quite an entertaining contest. Ireland through two brief lapses have handed England 14 points, so it's all to play for in the second half. I reckon a lot will depend on the strength of the two benches, but frankly I expected us to be steamrollered in this game (the way the women's team were earlier on!) due to the generally greater physicality of the England pack, so as an Ireland supporter this is quite encouraging. Second half coming up in a few minutes.

Sorry lads, I'm only seeing this now. It was broadcast on RTE in Ireland, not sure if it was perhaps available on the BBC website or similar.
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW THE RESULT, DO NOT SCROLL DOWN!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . That was an incredible, game, worthy of some of the best Heineken Cup games I've seen and better even than many senior international games. Ireland came back from 3-14 down to 20-24 soon after the break, had a loosehead prop sinbinned on 63 minutes for repeated collapses in the scrum, yet somehow fought their way to a 35-27 victory in a game for which the bookies had England as 20 point favourites. A fantastic contest which any enthusiast, neutral or otherwise, would enjoy.
