Replacing Alternator Cost for Labour only
Hello all
I have my car up for sale however I may undertake a secret mission. I see there is a alternator for sale so how much for labour? I have been quoted £400 for a reconditioned alternator plus fitting. If purchasing the £40 option plus delivery how much for the actual job? I don't want to part with the car if it can be made road worthy I prefer to take this route. |

I did mine from underneath without removing the bumper in about 2 to 3 hrs . Interrupted by going off to get a replacement alternator.

They originally thought it would take no longer than 2 hours so charged me for that instead of the 5. |
