We've lost the frost here - and the snow is thawing quite quickly lower down - but the hills are still well white, with snow still clinging to the needles of the Scandinavian pines in the forest - so it must still be pretty cold up there.
What we have got back this morning, after days without it , is the wind, so it still feels bitterly cold out there.

Shopping day today -again - the weeks are just flying by - which at this time of the year, I don't mind as it brings Spring around more quickly.

I've been scanning another batch of my old rally photos (Andy asked for some more - so they're on the All Our Yesterdays thread) - and the one thing that struck me is many of them are taken with snow on the ground. Bearing in the mind that the event, The RAC Rally, was always held around third week of November - it does seem as if we had snow at that time of the year quite consistently, especially in Wales, the Lake District, Kielder Forest and the Borders.
Good morning Rod its still mighty cold down this part of the world but the sun is up so may be warming up later

I am looking forward to it Phil, the parthenon is one of many on our hit list of sight seeing.

Don't think we'll see much sun today Derek - it's very grey and overcast
