Cool

Evening everyone.

Got the grass cut, done some weeding and got the rubbish away to the tip.

Sold my Vulcan Sunrise painting to a retired RAF pilot, who has flown in the Vulcan bomber. That’s most of my aircraft paintings now sold. Keeping two though. Will starting sorting through the unframed aircraft paintings to start selling them off.

Gammon, taters and broccoli for tea. Might have a glass of wine.

I’ve had a bad afternoon today, it s sounds nothing at all but the slightest thing makes me in such as sad mood that I can’t seem to stop.
We finally chose a dining table and chairs then when we left the shop we’re going to get a drink, when I removed my sunglasses one of the arms was snapped off. This put me in a sad mood and I went to bed when I got home started crying the way I was feel.
This sounds nothing, and if I came ok after the accident, nothing would bother me, but I can’t seem to take a simple thing that went wrong put me in such a sad mood. Sometimes it takes the following day to eventually get to normal mood.

Phil - I hope you and Jessica have a lovely time wherever you choose to go.

And Rich, as for rats they are not nice for many reasons not least being the diseases they carry. Good luck with getting rid of them.

Take care and keep dry everyone.
Good morning Andy, thank you for your good wishes. The latest yesterday varied from doing the Caledonian Sleeper to visit Scotland or going on a cruise to see the icebergs and penguins, it feels like anything can happen.

How are you?

Good morning all,

Today is Jessica’s last anti clotting injection number 28 into the abdomen. She is doing well walking stairs and doing exercises following the hip replacement 28 days ago, the pain is worse at night and I will be giving her pain medication at 04:00, she still can’t lie on her back at night for more than 2 and half hours, then she has to get up and walk around. When the pain medication cuts in, it sends her off to sleep

My apologies for not having any trivia to report, except yesterday I found the toilet seat had broken. In my pursuit to order a replacement, I saw on Amazon the prices varied from £9.99 to £42 for a new or used one.

What is everyone up to?

Morning everyone.

Well, the sun didn’t stay long. The rain is back.

British Gas are paying me a visit today to service the boiler.

Morning all, It's wet out there from overnight rain & has that autumnal feel to it this morning. We have dark grey skies which is no good for ripening my bell peppers & tomatoes.

Dry and sunny here but also cool and windy.

Need to see about a new fertiliser sprayer, the kind that fits on the hose. Used it yesterday and it now leaks so badly its better at washing your feet than spraying the fertiliser! Water is pouring out of the main body in the trigger area. Had a look online, going rate is about 14-15 quid, might just get one at the nearest B&Q, looked at the B&Q website, 31 quid . . . . 31 quid . . . . fu . . . . forget that!

I was looking at some sunburst Epiphone Casinos the other day for the first time in years & couldn't believe how much they've gone up in price. Nowt's cheap anymore.

I've been feeding everything here solely on homemade comfrey liquid feed in the greenhouses, It's been really good with bumper crops this year, Just need a bit more sunshine to ripen everything.
The grapevine is doing OK & they're slowly starting to turn red, It'll be the first crop since I planted it as a young plant nearly three years ago
