Cool In Memory of Scouseeric

Hi All,

I was taking a look at our members map this morning and realised that there is a pin in place for Scouseeric.

It didn't seem right to delete the pin, so I would like to edit it, so it will be there forever in memory of Eric.

The amount of text that will fit is only small, so it cannot be anything too long, but I would like it to be fitting. So I suggest that between us we come up with something appropriate.

I know Eric enjoyed a joke, he did support Liverpool afterall, and was a very sociable gent, as such, I shouldn't think anything should be off limits really.

Your ideas please

If nothing is off limits how about, "Bill Shankley was wrong!"

No other suggestions?

I was kind of hoping for something better that the old 'Always in our thoughts' or similar ilk.

You will have to enlighten me as to what Bill Shankly was wrong about! From what I can see he was pretty good (not interested in football personally)

When the manager of Liverpool he rather famously ventured his opinion that football was more important than life or death.

You've already had mine, probably why this thread was started .

To be honest I can't come up with anything humorous that would be suitable

If a Liverpool supporter, then why not something simple like " You'll Never Walk Alone"

I have to agree that would be a very fitting tribute.

I'll now close this thread as we have found a very suitable epitaph.
