Boot release button
Hi all,
The interior boot release button on my 53 plate 75 saloon by the bonnet release is not working (just got the car). Boot opens fine with the key. Any tips on where to look? Thanks |

It's got the boot pop picture on it, so appears to be a button, not a blank. (My Mrs ZT saloon is also a button and that is an 04 plate)

The button on mine sometimes fails to open the boot, I suspect it might be dirty switch contacts as it’s so rarely used. |

As this button simply provides an earth for the BCU, I would try to get access to the switch wiring and trace the black wire to its earthing point and check that. Simon
