The current list of issues

Headlights, the beam is rubbish only illuminating a short distance, the little wheel on the switch changes it from not far enough to a few feet, fiddling with the adjusters under the bonnet does nothing, so I am assuming that there is something up with them.
The car has started using coolant but not overheating, so I am thinking leak, when the fan comes on you can smell it, so I am thinking radiator?
Intermittent ABS light.
Washers have packed up front and rear.
Sunroof, seems to catch the blind and get stuck.
Rear parking sensors are playing up.

I pray for good weather as I have to do all this in the street.

The adjusters are plastic cogs pressed onto a metal shaft which is prone to corrosion meaning the cogs no longer grip the shaft. Some have had success with glue but the cogs are nylon meaning a lot of glues won't take.

If glue doesn't work try this.

You just need the inside of one connector, then cut it in half so you have a short hollow block with a single screw in it. Slip it over the end of the adjuster rod and then use a pair of pliers to pull the adjuster rod out of the back of the lamp until it's at the correct height (line the beam up against a wall and compare it with the other side). Once it's in the correct position tighted the screw so that the rod is held in place.

It's just about do-able single handed, but easier if you can get someone else to tighten up the screw while you keep the light in position.

BTW - The 'quick fix' is still there 6 momths later!
PS: lasts a lot longer than 6 months!

Trikey,

You are correct as always, new aluminium thermostat assemble on order from dmgrs.

Lockdown, COVID and shielding has made progress at a glacial pace, but we are getting there.

It adds to my knowledge, it has Xenon’s, they are awful mind.
And the adjustment is broken.

When the weather is better they will be removed ( bumper off job ) and repaired.

if they're factory xenons and not aligned, it could be the self levelling sensor arms on the suspension have become inverted

I don’t know, I am learning all the time.

The little wheel on the headlight switch works.
