Did you try what was suggested on FB? Run the engine to get some heat in there?

I would try and get some plus gas onto the threads and let it soak for a day then try your gun again.

Sometimes works but if the bolt is REALLY tight it might do in the crankshaft which was NEVER designed to take that sort of shock loading.

Repairing the engine can be SO expensive.---

Breaking the crankshaft and your heart in a tenth of a second is so soul destroying.---

You said you're chasing an 1800rpm vibration through the floor?

Are you in a saloon or estate?

Rear engine mounts are common but before you spend on one of those adjust the angle of the front/centre pipe exhaust hangers and check the front edges of the exhaust heat shields aren't bent and vibrating against the tunnel.

Already sorted all those last couple of weeks,

Can only be felt under load , but its reduced dramatically with the work done recently.

When you say DEwalt, is the battery impact gun DCF899?

I have one of these and was keen to try it on a crank pulley so Im a bit disappointed to hear of your problems The gun has made light work of everything else including tractor wheel nuts. If anyone is near me (North Shropshire) I’d happy to give it a go.

Hope you get it sorted!

I had the vibe between 1800 and 2000 rpm and changing the lower engine mounting and hydra mount helped but didn't cure it.
I then replaced the top mounts, shocks, springs, lower arms and bushes and drop links.....still there.
Lastly changed the o/s driveshaft as the support bearing was shot and.......its gone ,no more vibe.
The dash panel has a little rattle at 1800 but I cant feel anything through the car anymore, might be worth checking.
