Some of these are mega tight - I've had one that was.
I too broke a 3/4 drive breaker bar so welded up the square drive in to a couple of bits of flat solid scrap and then slid a 5 foot length of scaffold over it. Here it is with the home made locking tool for the pulley. Not very pretty but it worked, and in true GhettoTech style, cost nothing apart from a few welding rods. If you were a bit more local I would Chris. Just looked at the last one I changed and yes it has clearance holes for 10mm nolts and the rear lug has a 10mm female thread. |

Gave up with the pulley .. but new belts and Alternator on..
Will try new Diesel lower mount tommorow .. Just chasing a 1800 vibration felt through the floor .. BUT Still in need of a Clip for the Alternator plug C.

I've done what is suggested with a long breaker bar and a flick of the starter.
Worked for me. Just a flick with the starter tho. Give the engine about a 1/4 turn if that.

Unplugging the cam sensor will do it.
