And ta for bigging the pic up. Posted it from an ipad and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to bleedin' do it. :-)

I dropped the bars a couple of inches since the pic. Still looks pretty similar but worth it for the reduction in arm ache during motorway jaunts.
No problem Pete

It takes strong arms to keep going

My bike is on post #94 and when I bought it on post #85

It was all I could afford along with changing some things here and there

Seems we drive sedate cars but when it comes to modern bikes we ride ones that go like s**** of a shovel. They will also pull from 30 to dred & 30 or more without the need to change gear.........so I'm told
Watching how quick the speedo spins up past the numbers is quite something and it is effortless. If only my 75 could do it

Except us with "Poseur bikes" as described earlier.

We ride as if still wearing slippers and smoking a pipe.

A bike much favoured by couriers I believe because of their great reliability.

Just dug out this one of my first roadbike a brand new Yamaha RD250LC in 1981 pic is my mum and i've had it about an hour..

Great memories of the bike Blackheath tea shed & Chelsea Bridge/Heston usually with at least ten other strokers KH250/X7/RD400's etc.

Not so great memories of Thamesmead apart from being able to walk from one end to the other almost without stepping on a road..Quite a feat considering one end was in Erith, Kent and the other in SE London.

Something seriously wrong with the proportions of that 140. Front wheel looks like and egg

I think the scaling of the photo has gone out the window.
