Roverite.
Here's one I photographed in San Diego Automobile Museum a couple of years back.

And just to add to the list is one of mine !

It's a 1950's Raleigh Rudge Wentworth

My son is a keen biker currenly owning a few but his regular bike is a Honda Fireblade in full Repsol colours.
He keeps it in mint condition and polishes it as soon as it gets back into his garage

I had a CB750 K7 and had to rebuild it after a smash, but nothing like the skills you must have building from scratch a customised bike.
Please put in an update when you have finished. Think its going to look a bit special

I don't poses skills Jay, I have never done it before lol, just having a crack for a laugh, I think its called a midlife crisis, my first one was 5 years ago when I bought and XJ6 3.6 I will update as I go, it will be slow progress I fear as I need to teach myself to weld amoungst other things, lol.

Pity your not nearer. I could learn to weld myself then. I used liquid weld and 4 hardened tapit screws to hold on the eye hole that holds the back brake arm to the right back swinging arms about 12 years agoWell it worked

My mid life crisis was buying a Harley Sportster 883 last January. Took it out for the first time after being laid up for a few months, today. That left a smile on my face

I had one of those new in 91, so it would be the same model bike.
It was the model year that they bought out the ABS version, but I opted for the one without.

Many happy memories of touring Europe on the FJ12.

Yes I know, but for thr XJR they were made in Japan, not in the Ohlins factory.
Because Yamaha part owned the name, they could brand them as Ohlins.
Effectively, they were copies and not of comparible quality to the Swedish made originals

I bought one the same year.
2 months after that, I T boned a car that pulled across my path, writing the bike off.
When I went back to the scene, there was a 10 meter long skidmark, meaning my abs didn't work
