Well I tried a few times and tried other versions, so I guess the nav drive is dead, I will have yo keep a eye out for one at the local scrap yards, as I have a bm54 I will have to get a mk3 or 4 on a plus note my local yards don't really know the value so if they have one it will be cheap.

well i finally got another mk3 drive for my car, so now all up and running again.
only one tiny problem its from a land rover so every time i turn it on the screen splashes landrover, so will look into changing that to a mg one, problem being if i upgrade the software to change the splash screen would it in turn loose the of road navigation option? its a nice little function that show a compass and a few little bits besides, seems a bit sad really but i like it. Any ideas? Thanks |

Yes it will, that function is only on the Landrovers.

sell it on ebay, they go for a small fortune, and buy a BMW/Rover one and make a profit

I think the LR one has different firmware as well as software
