Unknown highline plugs?
HI I have had my board monitor out today to find the speed pulse sensor which i did the mk2 runs the normal standard plug with the gala wire (speed pulse) in the plug itself, the early mk1s which the loom came from it runs through the small inline plug that is separate from the main plug, although the plug is there it does not have the gala wire going through it.
My question is i have 2 plugs that exit the highline loom the first exits where the main coupling to the car enters the highline loom, the other exits at the same point the board monitor plugs exit. any ideas? |

But why does it run in the hiline loom?
Is the redundant phone plug not the same then as a BMW Ulf module or a rovers own thing? |

What you have is a very early hi-line loom, the interface plug was for Rovers own telephone module which never appeared in production.
As for the other plug, ignore it |

Pardon my curiosity, but what was the other plug (that should be ignored) for? Not the cigar lighter then?

Hmm it is interesting what it could be?,
Does anyone have a pin out for the telephone plug? It maybe compatible with something else as it would have to be someway to a BMW compatible setup |
