I'm still in hospital high on Morphine, can someone remind me why I opted for this op, I still don't know if its worked.

If it hasn't worked, then I'm pushing for Orchiectomy, I've had enough now.
Just get well asap Wes.

Get well soon Wes.
I have been told that the aftermath of this type of operation can be extremely painful.
Hopefully they can give you some good drugs whiĺst you recover.
Take care mate.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the support.

I think the nurses must like me as I'm still here LOL. The pain ain't settling though, and the doc's aren't much help to be honest, I can't live on Morphine; and my bollock better not stay the size of a watermelon either.

Hmm, an orchidectomy Wes, you might want to have a think about that when you are not as high as a kite on morphine.

You might have to shave less frequently, but you may need a bra

Get well soon, I suspect the pain will subside once everything settles down........anyone who has had a vasectomy will know that having someone rustling around down there takes a few days for it to stop knacking, and you've had more rummaging than most

Take it steady

Lol, Yeah I hear what you say Bri, I've got to give this op a chance to work, I'll be counting the days.

Otherwise you will be calling me Wendy.

Thanks Bob, you're a good friend, that's what is great about this club, it's full of many wonderful people.

I won't lie, stress levels are through the roof at the moment, what with losing my father just a short time ago, and now this. Plus mum being ill and on her own, and I have Tracey on the phone in tears, I guess it's not the best time to be in hospital; especially during covid.

Roll on 2021 I say.

Well, at least you haven't lost your sense of humour. Wes, are you back at home? Whats the latest?

Give yourself a few weeks to let the bruising dissipate and for the pain to subside. Did they let you out with analgesics and post-op advice? I would think so

I took this shot and it always brings a smile to my face, a photo Wes to cheer you up

Cheers Phil, love the photo.

Woohoo I'm now home, I asked them last night to come home, but was told no, I asked again this morning and had to wait to see the duty doctor again. What a lovely guy, he was more positive and agreed about removal as a last resort if this op hasn't worked.

I wont lie, the pain, bruising and swelling post op has been horrendous, blockages were ruled out, and bloods have been normal; so thankfully nothing to worry about. Blood pressure was constantly checked, that got me concerned a bit, plus the fact I couldn't stand or walk for two days; I'm still struggling now.

During my little holiday I was swabbed for covid three times, plus my temperature was constantly being checked, all very scary stuff. I've actually kept myself isolated the best I could these past three months, and to think I have ended up going into two hospitals of all places, I feel I've been playing Russian roulette.

The doctors and nurses have been incredible, to be able to watch the teams in action is so heart warming. The care I received has been amazing, they certainly go that extra mile for their patients, I certainly felt I was in good hands.

So it looks like I'm gonna be out of action for a few weeks, nothing new there then. I have lots of Morphine to take, plus a very large box of a laxative to counteract the Morphine... oh dear...

If all this hasn't worked, at least I know what to expect with Round 2.
