Paul

too busy with the other three cars, and have spent a few weeks getting the newer car done, paintwork, wheels, engine bay, and the underside, and just need to finish the exhaust, and taking it to Durham MG Show on Sunday, so will post up a few pictures of the new motor at the show

Stu

Paul, yours looks gorgeous, just like Stu's.

How do I tell if engine is a non VVC, is this the better option to not have a VVC engine?

Oh! and what's with the chrome roll bars on mine, or should I say the wife's. lol Were they an option from new, or do owners fit them. I've always liked the bars, especially when the tops off.

Thanks fellas.

I have found a cure... a new drug called Lexus...
It has all of the interesting effects of the original but is available in a fresh supply...

Going off you wheels, yours is an MPi Wes. A simpler but less powerful version. I like my MPi, more than enough power for me
The roll hoops are an extra.......they look good and will have some for mine when I find some for less than what I paid for the car
There are genuine option ones about that are marked so but, most seem to be aftermarket. Mike Satur ones seem to be the ones to have........pricey though

Seems like a TF empire is building here.

What of curiosity are they any good in terms of performance?
I've never driven one ever they look part and what's like about them.

In the sports convertible category its easily the prettiest compare too the other mainstream motors like the Mazda MX5.

F and TF Dave

MX5s are hairdressers cars Dave, F's And TFs are for MG men

They're certainly no slouch Dave, they perform well, even the 1.6. Reasonably light cars that handle like they're on rails
