My clutch master cylinder modification
This is a mock up of what I have done.
The clutch master cylinder is held in place by two 6mm bolts with 8mm heads. The rear head is out of sight, the front one just in sight but it is "hard work" to get a spanner or socket on either. I did not have an extension sort enough. I took a longer 6mm bolt, brazed a nut along it's length. With the washer in place the thread is a tad shorter then the original. This is on purpose in case the hole it screws into is a dead end and not open ended. I can now get my fingers on the head of the bolt to screw in by hand and can clearly see the head to get a spanner on it. macafee2 |
