Default Ztt aerial extension length

Just fitted an Alpine double din unit and need to connect the aerial lead.
How much do I need to run from the boot to the unit and what connectors do I need?
Gonna go and it all tomorrow hopefully if I get a quick response, cheers.

By boot I assume you mean load space.
F type or coaxial (push in or screw in).
5m from ICE have reached the rear seat backrest securing bracket as you run it up the wheelarch. 5m from underdash fusebox have reached center of the top of the rear window. so judge how much more you need from there. there is no set method, you can just cut your antenna cable, and solder a 5m length of cable

The connectors you need depends upon the connectors on the ICE and antenna, and wherever you go not having what you want, that is often the case.

Yeah I need to runn the wire from the back of the head unit to the receiver in the wheel well.
I suppose 6 metres should do it then.
It is the standard hi line system in the car so what connection is on the receiver as standard? Will the extension lead plug straight in or will I need a male to female socket
