We had a Forester before getting the X3, worst car for faults I've ever owned The dash was forever lighting up with faults and I was forever underneath it or under the bonnet fixing it
I will concede though, it was fun to drive as it was Prodrive tuned. 270bhp on tap with a tiptronic box, it couldn't half get away from the lights quick

Used Phil`s program to write digital mph on the IPK in the tourer, checked for fault codes with my Pscan diagnostic (Nice bit of kit but but a T4 it`s not) ....non present, put £30 of diesel in.
Watched it get it`s first snow and frosted up windows of this Winter.

It'll be ideal for moving Rover parts around, and hopefully, if we have a bad winter, it'll be brilliant. Has the high-low ratio gearbox, heated front windscreen, and lots of other winter-beating things.
It's a shame the 75 never got a heated front screen, maybe one day they will be available.

Finally got around to fitting my new front pads and discs

We had a sticking caliper on the drivers side.

Passenger side, more than double the amount left

Plenum a checked while I was out there as well, nice and dry again

Default Me too!

Well, as you've done the fronts, I did the rears! New discs, pads and shoes went really well on the left hand side, but one of the shoe retaining pins decided to pull through the backplate.

Luckily, a small bolt and nylon nut saved the day

until I can get the backplate sorted out.

Also glad to see that I'm not the only one to use the wheely bin workbench

FItted a gold resistor to the tourer, was going to do a 2 horn upgrade then realised that the loom runs through the slam panel and not enough daylight to get that busy this time of year. rodded the plenums on both cars, good job as the Turbo has been sitting for a couple of weeks with the wife's poorly leg and it had acquired a small swimming pool that the ECU was about to dive into !!!! and did the neighbours plenum and scuttle drains while i had the kit out

Had a 160bhp remap today which is a superb upgrade, much better drive

A huge thanks to BigRuss for doing it for me and also for coding my cruise control that I retrofitted last weekend.
He even reset my clutch switch which wasn't making and preventing the cruise from engaging. Such a nice helpful guy, highly recommended to anyone needing T4 work in the North, or any Rover advice at all, very knowledgeable chap

It is possible to get heated screens produced in small quantities, we were part of a group buy of 10 heated screens custom made for the TF

I think the cost was around £240 for those so the 75 would be a bit more i would imagine
