Reverse lights
Can anybody tell me if there is anything in the radio Aperture that I could have knocked that would cause the reversing lights to fail.
Had one working, and have been installing new winCe unit, so I thought it was just a bulb, fitted new bulb, now I have nothing. I know it could be the switch, but seemed strange they have failed after I have been rummaging behind the radio, so just had the thought it could be something I've disturbed behind there. Thanks Shaun |

Or did you use a faulty or incorrect bulb in your replacement ?

Reverse wire
Thanks Jeff
I think I know the wire on the car you mean, I have one that goes to a small black plug, but this is not plugged into anything, and I assumed the pink wire from the back of the new unit splices in here, but I haven't wired that yet. It's just if you happened to have shorted it out on something as it will be live when you put the car into reverse, likely a fuse would then blow and your reverse lamps wouldn't work! I think it's far more likely that the problem is at the rear and possibly with the bulb replaced or the bulb holder
