Default Injectors

Hi,

I was thinking about getting a set of injectors refurbished and balanced as a set of 4 from Alan at Lynx Diesel a few years ago and when I checked recently it appears that he has retired.

I have swapped out an injector that was slightly out of spec and also done the leak off test but I still get a fuel smell from the exhaust / some smoke under acceleration so I am considering having a set refurbed and balanced as a set for flow. As I understand it balancing a set is not that common as most places refurb each injector to within original spec but that doesn’t mean they are not different to each other. Currently the worst injector adjustment is a maximum of 0.7mm3

I have already replaced PCV filter, new air filter, new oil and filter, EGR clean and inlet manifold clean.

Doesn’t have to be a local place as I have a spare set I can post.

If anyone has had this done / could recommend somewhere?

Regards

Jon
