alarm bleep and tailgate open on ipk

Hi so disconnected the battery for an hour checked that nothing was catching the tailgate, so anything else to try ?

i take it the glass is out of the equation it can only be the tailgate ?

There are rubber stoppers that screw in and out, try screwing them in a bit.

Also check the striker plate for loose screws to the point where the lock was not fully locking.

If adjusting the stoppers does not sort it undo the torx screw and pull it up a few mm until it locks .
