Good news about Lilian is making progress Derek. I wonder if the guy thought that Mike and myself were a gay couple lol He had a Mohecan shaved haircut, jack boots and army jacket on, I felt he had more than enough to deal with himself, so left it in the corner of " I have not heard that one before" lol

Say no more Phil I think his appearance alone would make anyone stand clear

I looked at those wheels again last night end ended up looking in my bank account to see if I had enough to buy them I didn't (I have that mod to pay for)
I also noticed the vat had not been added cheeky blighters.
Did you go for a chrome valve or a side valve?
Think they will look the business though

Thanks Phil. Hope all is good with you. I would have said to that bloke the only blue things you will be seeing in a minute are the stars going around your head

Good (mid) morning all
See my local team narrowly lost to Liverpool last night: 16 - 15

Think I've finally got the use of my joints and muscles (fat!) back today after a few hours being an amateur mechanic on Monday - so now I'm going to track down some decent new brake shoe retaining pins - and fit them the opposite way round to Rover - pin in from behind the backplate, with a decent sized washer to stop it pulling through again, and the spring and 'cup' on the inside of the drum. My memory tells me Girling ones off a Ford might well do the job.

Good afternoon all,
The rain stopped late am and the sun has been out since, it's gone from cold and needing a jumper on to sticky and get your shorts out weather again

I'm now the proud owner of some new metal in my mouth, not sure it's worth weighing it in though
