Default Brake back plates (front)

I'm looking for back plates for the front brakes.
The part numbers are listed as SEC 100241 R/H & 100251 L/H but appear to be NLA.

Is there any chance these items could be the same as on some BMW models so I've shown some photos below.

So is there any BMW parts guys on here who could help.

I'm sure I am not alone on this issue with corroded back plates.

Thanks for that David
I will give them a try to see if they still have it in stock.
I have considered making two up from sheet steel. I made a new rear valance panel for my SD1 Vitess when I fitted my custom twin exhaust. It took me all of three days to fabricate it but it came out rather well using cardboard templates to get all the curves just right before cutting it on sheet steel.

You're right. I've been looking for some for 2 years. Did you manage to get them off without removing the hub?

Could you post a link to where you found that? I can't see it. There's probably a good number of cars needing replacements by now, mine rusted away a couple of years ago at the front, although the backs are still fine.

OK, I needed to delete the space and now I've found loads of suppliers. Thanks

Hi David
Yes I did manage to remove them without removing the hub as they were rusted quite badly but to fit new ones the hub would require removing first unless a piece was cut out to allow them to slip past the hub.

Now why did I not think of "Google"

I've just sent a message to ShanHai Yong Hong Aoto Parts Co Ltd with a price for two pairs of each as both my 75's require them.

Will keep you all posted on results.

And I've asked FIACOM for a price also, so may have a couple of options soon. Having seen how skimpy that bit of metal down the back of the plates is, I'm thinking of cutting that off to replace without hub removal. Can't see it serves much purpose with 3 bolts to secure it.
