Replacement key
Looking for a replacement key without the innards for our 2005 rover 75. I have checked a number of eBay sites, however the shipping costs to New Zealand are ridiculous. I can get the key blade cut and matched to our car here in NZ. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hello John,
If you just need to renew the case of an existing key fob because the buttons have disintegrated then you can transfer the existing blade to the new case. There's no need to have a new blade cut. I bought a case from this eBay seller recently. It was good quality but, like most of them, you'll need a bit of Blu Tack to secure the transponder in its cradle. Regarding the cost of postage to New Zealand, for a "large letter" Royal Mail charges £3 for 84 day untracked economy delivery, £4.20 for 7 days untracked standard delivery and £9.65 for 7 days tracked (with no delivery confirmation). These are for a weight of 100g. I'd ask some sellers if they will do this (it only requires a visit to a Post Office) and hopefully you'll find one. Simon

If its just the case make sure you dont lose or damage the chips and transfer them safely. Bin there, done the damage and paid for doing it!
