crankcase breather

hi to all
has anyone fitted one of these to their rover 75 diesel Crank Case Breather kit Fit Land Rover Freelander and here is a link and does it work

Yes I have, fit and forget

Haven't heard or read any negatives either.

I fitted one to mine about 8 years ago.
When I swapped cars I also swapped the "fit and forget" breather as well.
When I took it out the insides were as clean as the day I first put it in.
What you have to remember is that BMW added these to there cars as an upgrade to just having the filter itself.

They certainly aren't fit and forget

BMW service schedule states that the depression valve in the housing still needs to be checked for correct operation every 40,000 IIRC

If the valve sticks it will cause pressure to build up just the same as if the filter was blocked.
