Default Silly Question

Hi All,
How easy is it to remove the blanking plate where the drivers side cup holder would go?
I am considering mounting the coolant level warning box behind there with the button poking through.
Is this a practical idea?
Thanks
Tom

In a word Yes, it's the recommended position for the E-Zee coolant level and digital temperature gauge from same manufacturer. There are instructions to fitting it there on the forum. Though both of mine are fitted to the blanking plate on right side of Symphony radio, there is a large void behind that plate and it's in better line of sight,

Hi chips
Thanks for the swift reply.
I don't think line of sight is relevant in this case as the unit does not have a warning light on it, just a test button.
Regards
Tom

In which case here is the link to fitting in the drivers side cup holder, most of it won't apply to you, but scroll down and the relevant information is shown.

Just one further question mate is the blanking easy to get out.
I am a bit worried about damaging it.
Thanks
Tom
