It's worth remembering guys, that the price is £3000 for this to happen, how ever many units are actually requested ( not including taxes and postage ). Otherwise it's a no go.

The only other option that I'm aware of, is to replace the whole unit. These are rarely available, and at best, brand new ( still made of chocolate ) are about £180 a pair, and not much cheaper used, unless your lucky.

As a back up plan, and only if we can't get 250 committed members, would there be 100 members committed to paying £30 ( + tax & postage ) to make this a success?

I personally still think this is a great value long term fix for these, considering all the hard work has been done already by Rob.

Mel, many thanks for increasing your order, i too have increased my own as only put myself down for 4 sets initially.

If anyone else wants to do the same please let me know

Ben, thanks for the support i will do my utmost to keep this project on track, short of finding £3k myself ! At the moment there are approx 50 members who have ordered various amounts across the 3 forums which totals to approx 250 sets, and we still need more members to come forward

I cant believe that there are only 50 members with bullett powerfolds.

Currently there is a thread on here, 75 community, 75 enthusiasts, MG Rover.org, and i have asked Jurgen to post on the German forum, so hopefully we will get more but still a long way to go

I would like to order the 4 sets, but happy to increase that if more needed for the numbers.
