Click on post reply
top line of menu is a paperclip icon - click on it.
A smaller box appears and the top line says 'upload file from your computer'.
I keep all my forum piccies in a folder on the desktop called Forum
Click on Browse, find the photo you want to upload, and then click (or double click depending on how you have set up your mouse settings) 'upload'
It may take a while depending on your connection speed.
Where it say 'uploading image' this will change to 'current attachments' when it is done.
Close the window.
Your piccie will appear as a thumbnail on the bottom of the post.
We then right mouse click the thumbnail and select the second option on the drop down list 'open link in a new tab' We will then see your piccie in all its glory
Hope this helps.

Don't you have to be a subscriber to use the forum's image server?

The easiest way (for me anyway) is to open a free account at one of the photo hosting sites. Forget Photobucket and it's associates though, they're rather costly now. There are umpteen discussions on peoples' favourites.

Upload all your images to the host. Keep them at 800 pixels wide and save everyone having to scroll left/right to see it. Some images posted from the forum system are absolutely ginormous and make for difficult reading.
The hosting site will tell you how to copy the URL (web address) for your chosen image. So copy it to the clipboard.
On the forum's post a message interface, type up your post and click the cursor where you want the photo to be.
Now click the insert image button () at the top of the interface.
Paste down the URL you have on the clipboard, overwriting the existing bit of code (http://).
Your photo will appear in the text.
Carry on like that as required and click Submit Reply.

All free and easy for subscribers and non-subscribers alike.
I like it because you can see how it all looks before posting it. The forum server system only displays code on the message interface (I think).
