Default Clutch pedal travel cdti 75

Hi all. I’ve had my 75 for about six months, recently I think I’ve noticed that the clutch pedal has a little slack travel until you feel like you’re pushing against something. I’d say about half way from top (which it does return to) is when you feel like you’re doing something.
The car has always had a little clutch judder when cold (I guess this could be engine though)
The question being, is there a problem here or am I imagining it?
Thanks in advance
Eddie.

It does sound like you have an issue, bleed it through and see if things improve.

Thanks. I’m really not very hands on, but would you say it’s a job for a novice with a £10 tool kit, or should I leave this to the professionals?

If you're not confident about it send BigRuss a PM. He's less than 10 miles away in Liversedge.

That was my next port of call, he’s done some stuff for me in the past and is absolutely spot on.

A novice with one of these should be able to bleed the clutch
https://www.halfords.com/tools/hand-...RoCzQIQAvD_BwE

perhaps also 2 spanners for the bleed nipple, 10mm I think and may be a long flat bladed screw driver 1/2 inch wide to help undo the master cylinder cap and someone to either work the spanners or the clutch pedal
