Do they have any annual taxation for owning a vehicle, as there is in the *ahem* UK (VED)?

Imagine the outrage and road blockages if they introduced parking charges lol.

Also the roads are ten times better than those in the UK.--( You could spend days trying to find a pot-hole too. ) By the way, Pot-hole is French for a hole for a pole.--They pinched--Week-End off us and we pinched Pot-hole off them.
