Tidy 75 being prepared for Banger Racing
As spotted on another leading BMC>Bust Forum...
.. a "tidy" 75 what looks like its being prepared for banger racing.. Can't be for anything else -even the headlights are painted! Id imagine the 75 will be quite in demand with the racing types - having such a stong shell. |

Sadly I think a lot will end up like this because they are so strong. Same thing happened with P5s IIRC

To put the cat among the pigeons so to speak, I was thinking about this and quite like the idea that when my car is finished with me it will be on stela mileage, so strip out all the things that I have added in/ can sell and then take it for a weekend banger racing! and before I get burned at the stake, I think of it like this, according to the V5 my car is a Club SE, regardless of the changes I have made to it, in 3 years time it will be on at least 250,000 miles and is a V6 auto, what do you reckon it will be worth? I reckon a couple of hundred quid max.
I would rather it go out in a blaze of glory with me behind the wheel than have enough extra cash in my pocket for what will probably be 1 tank of fuel by then. I also dont like the idea that after all the years of me looking after my car, it will go to someone who just wants to run it without looking after it until it falls apart. Stands back and waits to be stoned! Richard |
