Am I missing the plot here?
Why would anyone buy this for £500
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-75-R...item51991763ea You can get an entire car with tasty bits on it for much much less... Is there something I'm missing?

Look we all know one of the main issues with the 75 has always been its a little overweight (just like some of us 75 drivers)
So ! stop moaning and buy this super lightweight 75 before its snapped up

Suppose if you were building a 75 from 'new' then this may be your cup of tea. Although I get what you're saying!

I can see it's lure to some. Let's just say that all you want is a good clean bodyshell but all you can get is a whole car for 500/600 quid undamaged. How long do you think it will take you to get it down to the bare bodyshell in the hope that there are no nasties hidden when you do???
It's a simple case of what you are after and how much you're willing to pay.... to answer your question, yes you are missing something, the very obvious.... Ciao.
