Default 2001 Rover 75 2.5 kv6 fuel pump & seal replaced now detecting petrol fumes.

Hi Folks
After the above I can now smell fumes from the drivers side rear wheel arch.
The locking ring is nice and tight.
I have a theory that the right angled plastic pipe that obstructs the fuel pump body on removal may have developed a minute fracture, but I could be wrong.

Any thoughts or advise most welcome.

Kind Regards Dan Gardner

While the locking ring might be nice and tight, check the seal has been correctly fitted, perhaps it's damaged and needs replacement.

Have a look at T-Cut's how to: https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...ad.php?t=9108&
