Hi Again,

What you need to do is forget about the camera as we know that is functioning ok. The only thing you need to do with the camera is to plug the yellow RCA plug into the RCA socket for back camera. No need to touch any of the other wires for the camera.

You then need to find the wire from the double din (usually pink coloured) which is marked either reverse, back or back cam. This is the wire that needs to be spliced/joined to the green/brown wire in the cars own wiring loom. It is usually found below the head unit near to the gearbox. Sometimes it is on a cable with a small black plug attached which is just loose/not connected.

Depending on how the camera has been wired at the boot you maybe able to just wire the small red tail wire from the Yellow RCA plug into the pink wire.
Without a meter to check voltage switching when car put in reverse you will just have to try sucking and seeing.

Failing all of that, if you can't find the green/brown wire or trying the red tail to pink wire doesn't work you can just run a single cable from the pink wire all the way back to your tail light cluster (either side) and splice that into the green/brown wire positive reverse lamp feed into your tail lights.

Hope that makes sense ,

Good luck,

Jeff.
