Default Busy day

Removed the offside rear sill , put a patch on the inner bit then trimmed the panel up and fitted.
Have to say Mr Hobbs is a genius,it was a perfect fit around the bottom and lined up beautifully.
Just got to tidy up my welding and paint.
Then do the other side.

Also rubbed down the spoiler due to lacquer peel, then primed.

Also finished off the front indicator's on the bike.
Photo in the thread.

More of the same tomorrow.

I fitted a new Bosch battery as the old one had failed.
It was supplied under the 5 year warranty, as it packed in after only 4 years and 8 months.

They were quite impressed that I still had the receipt.

Hi Bob.
That's what you call a good result if they just replaced it for you, from where did you purchase the battery was it off line, or local.

Changed injector 3 for a good used one as it was reading high on T4 and running a bit lumpy.

I did a very poor one last week for a local owner, their car was having trouble starting, once it did it was not running great, a nice clean refurbished one got it back to normal.

This spurred me into sorting out all the other injectors i have which needed refurbishing and cleaning so over a few days they were sorted out.

5

Some where smashed inside so no wonder they did not work very good.

I got the original battery from my local ECP using click and collect.
They tested it, to confirm that it had failed, and just swapped it for a new one.

Replaced the brake fluid on three wheels! All three bleed nipples opened up fine but no.4 decided to shear off. Irwins just made it worse so tried the tang end of a file trick but it broke off flush. Grrrr! Now I can't drill it! Hence my wanted ad! 😣Luckily nothing moved at all so still safe to move.
