I wasnt knocking the price of ''our cars'' I said it was getting a lot of money thrown at it for a car that hasnt been used for five years. If it's okay with you, I'll also point out its been relisted at £2500 buy it now despite finishing at £2700 reserve not met last time. Again, not knocking the price of ''our cars'' |

Oxford leather seats I think they are called. Have only seen 2 other sets in the 12 years of ownership.

I'm pretty sure they are not Oxford leather. That description was used for the cream leather sports-style seats that were a monogram option and appeared on a few cars. The seats shown were the last redesign before MG Rover went bust. I think they would probably have become a standard fit for exaample on the V8's had liquidation not occured. They did, as was pointed out above, appear in at least one brochure for a Chatsworth V8, and I have seen one other set on a LHD 'shorter' limo. Not sure why the seller seems to think only two V6 limos were produced - I have two myself! I also have (and they have been standing for some time) the NI Police limo with deep sea green interior, and one of only a few facelift diesel limos. Both might be for sale but need a lot of work!

They're not Oxford leather seats, they're "Monogram Classic" seats, as I said in post 7 .

That's interesting. If you click on the original Ebay link in the first post you can go through all the times its been relisted.
1/ Bidding ended £2750 2/ Bidding ended £2500 3/ Bidding ended £1995 4/ Now up at a fixed £3990. Optimistic considering the final bid on the previous three auctions. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223373610...m=223373610215 |

I think the owner has used parts from another lwb to do it up, he's selling 2 - one is for parts. How sad.
