Default Cdti 75 fuel filter step by step

Hi all, I don’t have much experience in working on cars at all. I’m looking to do three jobs.
First change fuel filter
Fit in kind thermostat to top hose
Fit egr delete, maybe cleaning manifold while I’m there. Do bolts need to be torqued to a set measurement, or just tight?

Could anybody help with an idiots guide for these?
I’m a little concerned about breaking things when I remove them (for example removing fuel pipes, I assume they don’t just slide off)

Don’t be afraid to state the obvious, it probably won’t be that obvious to me!

Ps I have a bulb out at the back (tourer) but whoever owned it in the past bonded the lights in, probably not much you can do here other than break them replace them?!

Thanks in advance
Eddie
