I have facelift 75 saloon that I bought online that when I picked up I realised was so badly flooded inside and left parked up to really stink that it was as good as a write off and unusable. So over time I stripped all the interior carpet and seats out and got them clean enough to eat off.

But enough about my eating habits, I took the black ash fabric/cloth seats completely apart - off the foam - so I had the sponge (foam) full of soap in the bath and put the fabric seat cover in the washing machine. I then took the drivers seat cover to my local shoe repair kiosk and for about £5 he machine stitched a black shoe leather patch over the usual far right upright that wears into a hole on most cars.

Flushed all many times and used a wet vacuum cleaner to help them completely dry by a hot radiator.

To put the fabric seat cover back over the foam - but to give the seat the correct unusual shape, requires loads of metal c shaped clips that tie the cover into the foam at about every inch but I (as many other people) used small cable ties instead. Not sure how different a leather or half leather will be.

Have you tryed cleaning it with a steamcleaner or carpetcleaning machine?
I bought a carpetcleaner machine and cleaned the seats of our MG ZTT(has bits of leather) very pleased with the result
It sprayes on special carpetcleaner and can suck up the moist&dirt from the cloth.
Then needs another day-ish to completly dry.
