Default Unsold Rover 75's and others

I was just reading about Jeremy Clarkson trashing the MG6 when I came across a photo posted in the comments section about unsold Rovers in China

Seems a shame.

The problem being, is that they would have to be registered in China 1st, before bringing them back, as they now couldn't be registered new in this Country, as they no longer comply with new UK emissions!

Could they still sell them in china if cleaned up? I suppose MG's new owners would block that one

They're all Mk1s, which seems odd. To me anyway, but I'm sure someone here will know why.

Strange, some of the Mk1 75's are left hand drive and at least two in the second picture are right hand drive.

China drives on the right except for Hong Kong which is the same as the UK.

Wonder if they were destined for Hong Kong.

Picture can't be reversed because of the TF numberplate.

That is very sad, I wonder what will happen to those?

However all look to me as they are LHD, I can't spot a RHD. They all have wipers parked on the correct side for LHDs.
