There is always something that needs to be done, they are all old cars now, if your using them daily they need regular tlc.

Today I addressed a small section of rust on the nsr arch lip. Cleaned it up, got some Loctite rust remover on it then smooth silver Hammerite. I actually think MGR Starlight Silver is in fact silver Hammerite as it is virtually the same colour!

Got up at 7am to view the results of washing the duotone at dusk on Saturday, gave it a coat of wax and after a bacon sandwich and a cuppa, started of in a westerly direction.

A quick stop for fuel and off we head

Thirty miles into the trip, it became apparent something was not quite right.......no no the car but me

So I pulled over just west of Haydon Bridge and...........

So I can confirm chicken Madras, revisited does not taste nice, especially mixed with bacon

Discretion observed, I headed back east feeling somewhat green, and spent best part of the day dossing about in bed

Missed Gretna, I was gutted, especially after hearing Terry was there.........if I'd known, I would have certainly soldiered on

Still I'm sure it was for the best, it could have just been a dodgy takeaway, but better not to risk it

Bl00dy hell Bri, not good mate, never forget throwing up a madras when I was 18, threw up so bad it came down my nose!! I can still remember the burning pain today some 33 years later.

I can also remember my Mam cursing as I chucked up all over the gas fire

Not curry related

Drove the ZT in excess of 500 miles this weekend. Performed faultlessly.
