And I thought Allan Millward, building 9 cyl Kawasakis was mad! He also did a 7cyl - using the cylinder blocks from 2 twins and a triple. Unlike this 24 engined monster, Allan built his own crankcase and innards to take the multiple cylinder barrels, so it was a proper engine, mounted in the bike frame, and road registered to boot.
Imagine the timing on the 7 cylinder!! He was on the M/cycle Mechanics Magazine stand at a couple of shows I went to a few years ago, building them up from scratch (apart from the c/case, as he wasn't allowed to weld/braze in the show!) |
