Didn't add my extra bit of chrome bling. What runs through your veins with a y on the end Rain.

I didn't take off the front bumper, as I was running short of daylight.......however, I removed the rear bumper, refitted the boot vents, rear 1/4 waist trims, parking sensors, foam infills, cleaned off some overspray from the boot seal, replaced the broken NSR inner door latch and finally fitted the fuel filler flap and locking solenoid
Tomorrows jobs are...... Refit wheel arch liners x4 Remove front bumper and replace fog light mount, and refit lower grille Adjust height of bonnet slam panel. Fit the front clips to the wings. Perhaps if time permits, I'll refit the door cards Brian |

Today I didn't... stop and ask the Q7 owner with his bonnet up if there was anything I could do to help. I almost certainly couldn't! So that's 2 reasons why I don't have one! Just wish I'd been in my £850 Rover, not the works van!

A work colleague had lost the key to his alko Hitchcock on his caravan and was in a state of panic over his weekend away.
So I assumed my alter ego as “the unoriginal angle grinder man” and put my 9” beast to use and cut it off. (For the avoidance of doubt, 9” refers to the cutting disc size and only the hitchlock was cut off). I can’t however fix the weather for his weekend away though. |

I also have a Series 2a Land Rover, which is a thousand bits in the garage , and a Hayter lawnmover, fitted with a Briggs & Stratton. The Triumph and the Hayter are not getting that much use at the moment. Roll on the summer!

Finished off my daughter's Citroen Dispatch so it is now ready for its new owner. Replaced the oil pressure switch which was randomly sticking both on and off. Found and fixed the oil leak which turned out to be nothing more than a loose cam cover, had to take a few things off to get to it though.
Only job left is to remove the ramp - it is used as a horsebox for miniature ponies and a donkey, and put it in her new vehicle, a later Mk2 Dispatch. Will do that tomorrow just before it is sold. |

I did not put the new rear brake discs on. And I did not change the engine oil and filter. But I did spend 3.5 hours up the allotment digging spuds up and weeds. So I did not waste my time.
