Default Satnav causing troubles

So I tried refitting my satnav after drying it out and fixing the boot leak however now when I use my indicators/ hazards they show now sign on the dash although they light up and the climate control says er. Have removed the satnav and checked all fuses but no luck. Any ideas?

Should also mention key fob isn't working. Main beam light not showing.

Try a battery reset as a starter.

So from researching it seems as though Ive got the symptoms of a k bus issue. My new question is, is there a wire which goes from the k bus by the drivers kick panel that Ive heard about to the satnav? (Lowline in the boot)

This is your best bet Archie. According to another member the connector in question is tucked high up beyond the LSM.

I hope this helps.

Sounds identical to to a k-bus fault that I had. That was caused by a K-bus wire trapped under the cd multiplayer. Maybe, if you've been working on the satnav unit, a similar solution?

If the fault only happened when you reinstalled the sat nav then disconnect it to see if the issue goes away

Yeah it sounds like it might be. I'm not sure but I'm under the impression there's multiple k buses? Was wondering which one the satnav would be connecting to. Seems like plugging in a broken satnav caused problems elsewhere

Sorry did say in original but might of not been clear. I unplugged the satnav straight away when I realised it wasn't working.
